Psalm 34:3-5 "Oh, magnify the LORD with me And let us exalt His name together. I sought the LORD, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears. They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed"
Truly the joyful experience we have had in the past is because we have been "Walking by Faith". As we walk by faith and trust GOD we are drawn closer to our Lord and our eyes are focused on Him. In Matt. 14, Jesus was walking on the water and Peter called to Him and said, is it really you? The Lord said come along! So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked toward Jesus and when he started looking around, he began to sink. Instantly Jesus reached out His hand and rescued him. Oh man of little faith, Jesus said, why did you doubt me? The reason you're coming to 'GOD' is not because you need someone to talk to, as much as you need the 'ONE' who can absolutely change your life and circumstances around for the better.
You have made a great start and absolutely moving by Faith, but do not take your eyes off Jesus so that you might not have the same experience that Peter had. Prayer has been the Guiding Light and a privilege to us rather than a burden, however our communication and relationship with God has been so strong through prayer what a privilege to carry, everything to God in prayer. A prayer-less Christian is a powerless Christian.
Lets place everything in the hands of the Lord and it shall be done, exceedingly better than we could have done it, with ultimate and best results far better than we could have believed possible.

Worship is at the heart of all we do at PGIC. Our church has been a vibrant, loving and mission-oriented church in service to the people and the Hayward community.
Our primary reason for gathering is to worship God and teach His word, but the work of the church does not stop there. We make and share lasting friendships. We learn the needs of others and find compassion to help meet those needs. Sermons by our pastors are Biblically centered, seeking to inspire, uplift, inform and challenge us to be good stewards of both the mysteries and the gifts of God.
Our music program is rich and instrumental by the choir and most important, we are able to reach out and love others because God first loved us.

Pastor Sam Aina was ordained as a minister in Pentecostal Gospel
International Church, Hayward CA on May 27, 2007 and since being
working in conjunction with the elders of the church to minister to
the need of people and bringing them to the knowledge of Jesus
Christ. The main focus of the church and Pastor Sam Aina is to
ensure that people are brought to the awareness that Jesus has come
to this world and lay down His life for the remission of the sins of
the world. His goal is to ensure that the ministry equips the
congregation with a humble heart to be heavenly conscious and
providing encouragement and support for individuals to maximize
their potentials and destiny in life. In addition to this, Pastor Sam
through the ministry provides assistance to people to live a quality and meaningful life through the preaching of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and to fulfill the command of Jesus Christ to evangelize to the lost, reaching out and touching the hurting generation with the good news of Jesus Love.
The most important aspect of Pastor Sam Aina’s ministry is to be a witness to his community by serving them and responding to their social needs, teach and train individuals for the work of the ministry. He loves to provide biblical instructions for living Godly and concentrated lives with a well balanced ministry for the entire family.
Pastor Sam Aina has a Master of Science degree in Computer Science and work as a Software Engineer with a Medical Device company in Silicon Valley and as a minister.
Pastor Sam Aina is married to Mrs. Toyin Aina with three loving children (Emmanuel, James & Mary). His vision is to build and support mission works, crossing all denominational and racial barriers as he strive to be examples of Jesus Christ.
The purpose of our ministry is to ensure that children know, understand, and most especially live a Godly and Christian life impacted on them as a result of Gods words and teachings, in other words our goal is to have this Christian life come naturally to them, be part of a way of life when they are older. To have the children love unconditionally, be able to forgive and move on as a teenager with little or no corrections, our goal is to see the manifestation of a solid foundation that will follow them to the rest of their lives. Proverb 22:6 says Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverb 23:24 The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice; he who fathers a wise son will be glad in him. Proverb 28:7 says the one who keeps the law is a son with understanding, but a companion of gluttons shames his father.
We ensure the children know and recognize Gods house as a place where they are highly welcome, a place where they love to come, and enjoy the company of other Godly children while having fun at the same time learning about God. Matthew 19:14 Let the children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven. We teach the scripture through Bible stories that will be remembered, recognized all the books in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation and know the ten commandments and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus 2 Timothy 3:15. Your child is welcome is welcome anytime to be part of our ministry.
Our ministry is to facilitate Spiritual, Physical, Mental, Social and mental growth of the teenagers. We build a spirit of confidence, responsibility and accountability and provide an environment of love to foster development of Gods gift. We provide opportunity for Counseling, mentoring and discipleship and maintain timely and effective communication between the Youth Ministry, Parents and the Church. We actively recruit Youth to the ministry and establish a process for Timely and effective Bible Church Discipline. We work closely with parents to foster Youth Spiritual Growth and monitoring and evaluate Ministry Programs to ensure Alignment with Bible Mandate.
We do have weekly bible studies, monthly regular youth activities, quarterly inviting guest speakers, give assignments to each member to be presented either by group or individual, encourage participation in community service. Also, encourage youth to demonstrate love and care to self and others and also encouraging volunteering and support the development of identifying gifts and utilize prayer gathering.
We advocate and arrange appropriate counseling, mentoring and discipleship as needed and contact and invite youth to ministry events and work with parents to facilitate their children attendance.
God loves a cheerful giver, and he gives to those who give cheerfully. His love expresses itself in action; it's the word agape. His love is not theoretical. He loves what those who are generous do, and he gives generously to them. We appreciate and pray for those who have made gifts and to our ministry to help out in our missionary work to Africa and other places. Our goal is to raise reasonable amount of money towards foreign missions in Africa and local needs. With this, we will be equipped to help those who are in need and also propagate the work of God in 2011. We believe that with your donations, we can feed the homeless, alleviate the suffering of many less privileged in our community, and help a hurting world find hope and salvation through Jesus Christs love. At this time, lets also remember to keep our eyes on Jesus as our provider as we seek and save the lost. This can be accomplished by giving sacrificially Offering and donations that can be made at any time to the less privileged and homeless during this season. The music ministry of our church is important for the entire congregation. For the unsaved, it sets the mood for them to hear the gospel and receive the gift of salvation. For the newly saved, it is exciting to awaken them to hear the Word of God for instruction. For the more mature, it sets the mood for praise and worship of the Lord.
Our church choir ministers in the power of the Holy Ghost and lead the congregation into worship. Music is an integral part of our worship and we believe that the type of musicboth the melody and the lyricsthat we use has an impact on everyday life. Our songs are capable of helping to set the spiritual tone of our congregation and very proud of our choir, ministering in manners to the glory of God.

Sunday School
Our Sunday school department conducts discipleship group meetings where Gods inerrant Word is clearly and faithfully communicated to those in attendance, and the church members. This is accomplished by weekly teaching, training, faithfully study each weeks material and make session a matter of earnest prayer. We prepare specific curriculum that fits with the overall Goals and Objectives of Pentecostal Gospel Intl Center. We regularly visit or phone students, absentees, guests, and prospective members because we realized that the highest aim of the department is to glorify God by being true to His Word; leading attendees to salvation in Christ and to lead attendees to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and more importantly how it applies to their life. We are committed to the ministry and able to spend reasonable time for preparation of the Word of God.
Our Prayer Ministry is an active, vibrant, and pillar of our church. This consists of members who are Holy Ghost filled and have the prayer as their ministry; they are referred to as prayer warriors, and they become intercessory prayer arm of the church. We prepare the day for the service by prayerfully attain the throne of God spiritually and We also call up prayer conferences, prayer relays and other necessary functions aimed at taking the kingdom beyond the reach of any contrary power. We identify key people in the church who are willing to pray or serve in the leadership of prayer ministry and enlist their commitment. We also ensure that prayer is encouraged, engaged, and integrated into every ministry and department of the church. The prayer ministry is strong, devoted, spiritually empowered and always see revelation from God. You are welcome to be a part of the Prayer ministry.
In our ministry, ushers are the 'doorway' into the church. The average newcomer meets an usher before even meeting with God during the service. Our church ushers are well trained in person, people and management. They are responsible for ensuring the smooth conduct of the service. Our ushers warmly welcome guests and regular attendees Provide directions to rest rooms and other facilities as may be needed. Provide a safe and healthy environment. We also assist visitors to their seats and never leave them looking for a place to sit. We take up tithes and offering, assist special needs people to enter and leave and also ensure that we provide a comfortable temperature in the church.
Our ministry provides all support to the church in order to ensure that the Glory of the Lord manifest in all our services. Our task is to maintain and set musical instruments and microphones for the service and out-reach programs, we record messages both Audio and Video of every service on CD and DVD that can be ordered and purchased from ushers. We also maintain up-to-date Web information on our church website and provide technical assistance where needed. We provide support of lighting, audio, video, graphics, or any other form of technical or stage support, in a manner that is acceptable to God. Winning Souls for Jesus is the heart of our Department. We are called to preach the gospel, and indeed, to the outermost part of the earth. Our church, therefore finds that for this to be achieved, people must be reached. Our evangelism department ensures and responsible for proposing and organizing outreach programs, sensitizing the members and the environ about upcoming events and drawing the blueprints for their execution. We keep constant tab on attendance and follow up on members that are observed to have been absent for a while. Members and guests that are out of town are also kept abreast of the goings on. The evangelism department comprised of all members of our church.
We organize church outreaches; ensure and design program that will enhance evangelism and spreading the word of God. We also coordinate programs to seek those that are lost, hurt, and tired of religion to come to know the true Jesus.
Evangelism is the primary mission of our church and the vocation of every Christian, the proclamation of God's judgment and grace in Jesus Christ and the call to accept and follow Him as Lord. We use every means at our disposal, including the modern media of mass communication, to give Christ to the world. Mark 13:10 Our God-given purpose in evangelism is to proclaim Christ. It is to proclaim His Excellencies as Creator, Sustainer, Judge and Savior. We are to overflow with praise and enthusiasm for our blessed Lord who created us and who has redeemed us with His own blood.
The men ministry is to develop a mens outreach ministry in church. This involves Christian men getting together and pray daily for non-Christian friends. They pray together specifically for men that are seeking to come to faith. Outreach focus is the heart of this ministry rather than seeking to develop fellowship among Christian men only through focusing on "in house" activity, this ministry has a constant "cutting edge" of outreach.
This ministry seeks to cultivate biblical masculinity through relationships of love and accountability, resulting in Christ-like character, service, and leadership in our families, church, workplace, and community. The objective is to establish a true and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, through prayer, worship, and the building of strong faith through the power of the Holy Spirit by the daily reading and study of God's Word.
To build strong Godly Characters of Integrity and Accountability with one another.
To help men assume their spiritual role of leadership beginning at home, then the church, and then into the workplace and community. Accomplishing this by being truly obedient servants of Jesus Christ and sharing our faith throughout everywhere and at anytime the opportunity presents.
Also to bring unity in the body of Christ by tearing down the denominational, racial, and ethnic barriers so that we may all become one in Jesus Christ.

Women's ministry is an integral area of our church life and is responsible for fostering the spiritual growth of the ministry. Our women's ministry meets the needs of women in the church through classes, events, Bible studies and related activities. The ministry reaches women of all ages to ensure they are maturing in their faith and growing as women of God.
The primary function of our ministry is to meet the spiritual needs of the women in our church so that they mature in their faith. In our ministry, we create, coordinate and implements events for women in the church such as Bible studies, womens conferences, women breakfast, mentoring, discipleship programs, retreats, and Sunday school classes. Our ministry work with other staff members whose areas of responsibility overlap our own, such as developing parenting classes for mothers. We organize quarterly meetings that are designed to encourage fellowship and networking among the women of excellence.
The young adult ministry is to inspire young adults to live a Christ like life, Inspire young adults to pursue a life of sanctification and holiness through nurturing a personal spiritual relationship with God in Christ and living a holy life as examples to many. We build up relationships and make an impact in the lives of many and encourage young adults to build healthy relationships and share their time, talent and energy with those in need. Our mission is to provide opportunities through programs and resources to explore ways to integrate young adults faith in their daily lives and through life transitions.
Fulfilling the Gospel mandate to "go make disciples" (see Matthew 28:18-20) is the focus of the young adults and people. We are committed to reproduce disciples for Christ out of unbelieving adults by reaching out towards youth and people in the world and extending the love of Christ to them. Establish a network of ministry relationships with other churches is also our priority.
We ensure that we communicate the value of young adults in the life of the Church and encourage them to utilize various gifts through the help of the Holy Spirit to honor God by actively serving the church body and the community.
Mark 10:9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. Married couples plays an important role in a church as they serve as models, mentors and guides since the church constitute mainly the large family of families. The ministry offer teaching, resources and materials to support Christian married couples. Many couples have found immense benefit in taking the time out to discover more of God's plan for their marriage through our seminars and lecture. We have special programs to provide resources tailored to enrich married couples. There are also teaching materials and resources related to marriage enrichment, marriage preparation and counseling to help both young and old couples. Empowering couples is a teaching that primarily for couples who have marriages that are okay but would like them to be even better and more rewarding. The teaching classes will be developed specifically to recognize the most effective way of bringing about a positive change in marriages.
Gen. 2:18 says And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him Raising children by a single parent can be a challenge and difficult task without help from anyone. It could be overwhelming and very stressful and can easily result in headache or other sickness to parent in question. We as a ministry realized this and try to provide as much assistance to anyone found in this type of situation. It has been found that single parenting has adverse mental, emotional and psychological effect on the child. There are very obvious reasons to make the child feel abnormal, different and unaccepted. The traditional families have two parents, the mom and the dad, jointly raising kids with help and advice from each other. Whereas in single parenting, a single person decides what is best for the child and sometimes takes extreme measures to get it accomplished. As a single parent, it is easy to feel guilty about many things. Not being around when your children need you, not being able to help them with their homework, and so on. Single parenting can be such an overwhelming experience that many parents simply forget to take care of themselves. Our ministry minster the word to the parents and also the children to take care of the emotional overload to better put the family into the proper perspective and remove the fear of the future.
The vision of PGIC single ministry is to see singles live a fulfilled and productive life with the unique opportunity to socialize and also find encouragement from the word of God. Our Singles Ministry encourages Christ-centered growth, service, and celebration among the singles and individual. Our goal is to reach out, teach and nature the singles of our church and community so that each will come to faith and maturity. Our ministry is growing personally and spiritually, Celebrating life with others and interconnecting with the larger churches. All our activities are controlled by Holy Spirit and sharing God's gifts through service; so we look forward to seeing you in the near future.

Our Faith
We believe in one God-Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Creator of all things. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, was crucified, died, was buried, was resurrected, ascended into heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father and is true God and true man.
We believe the Bible in its entirety to be the inspired Word of God and the infallible rule of faith and conduct. We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the eternal happiness of the saved, and the eternal punishment of the lost. We believe in personal salvation of believers through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. We believe in sanctification through the Word of God and by the Holy Spirit, and we believe in personal holiness, purity of heart and life.
We believe in divine healing, through faith in the Name of Jesus Christ, and that healing is included in the Redemption. We believe in water baptism in the Holy Spirit as distinct from the New Birth, in speaking with tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance (Acts 2:4), in the gifts of the Spirit, and the evidence of the fruit of the Spirit. We believe that all of these are available to believers. We believe in the Christian's hope-the soon-coming, personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Bible says in I Cor. 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ . A foundation is prepared base on which structure rests. It is the beginnings or first principals of a system of truth. A person who comes to the Lord Jesus Christ, and hears and does what he says, builds a foundation on a rock, because Jesus is the foundation. Therefore, have you accepted JESUS CHRIST? If your answer is yes, I want to applaud you but if your answer is no then you need to know HIM and let Him become your foundation today. We become so caught up with the commotion around us that we forget the sense of wonder and amazement and the thrill that GOD loves us.
Jesus Christ is the ONLY door to the heavenly FATHER; Without Him, everyone is considered to be a sinner and in danger of going to HELL and would not have the chance to see God after death except by the Lord Jesus Christ;. John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me "
Jesus cares for you and wants to carry your burdens and help you in all situations. This world is full of troubles, challenges, fears, war, addictions, and so on as forth but Jesus is more than able to sustain and keep you from all evils.
Jesus said in Matthew 11:28 "Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" . Know JESUS and you shall be saved.
PGIC exists to encourage all people to pursue a lifelong and long lasting relationship with Jesus Christ. Our history dates back to 1998 when the church began in the heart of Hayward California. Our church is a nondenominational, Pentecostal church. Our church is a place to continually grow in the abundant life that has been created through a relationship with Jesus Christ our Savior. PGIC is known for its spirit of worship, prophetic preaching, generosity, faith in the goodness of God and warm Christian love to everyone. If you're checking out PGIC church for the first time, you can expect the same thing that many now look forward to every week; that is a place to a place to continually grow in the abundant of love, care and freedom in Jesus Christ. We ensure that each service, youll enjoy energetic and passionate music from our choir, the undiluted Word of the living God, and more importantly with effective prayer and manifestation of the miracle of God.
